Champion Creek Clean up
July 20, Saturday
8am to Noon

Meet at:
Old Hawkins Market
233 Lafayette Road
Medina, OH 44256

We're partnering with the City of Medina, Main Street Medina, SustainEd, Medina County Soil & Water Conservation District, and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy to clear trash out of Champion Creek from South Huntington Street to South Broadway Street.

We will gather in the parking lot of the former Hawkins Market (future home of ReStore/Habitat for Humanity), the staging area where snacks will be provided and ground rules, forms, location leaders and assignments, collection materials and supplies will be distributed.

All volunteers must complete a July 20 Release Form before the event. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a July 20 Consent Form before the event.

Dress for the weather and wear long sleeves, pants and boots. A first aid station will be located at the staging area.

Champion Creek is part of the Rocky River Watershed (RRW). RRW Council lawn signs will be displayed along the designated cleanup route.

All trash collected will be recorded and entered into a database for improving ocean and waterway health.
